Craig Air Center is an FBO that was founded in 1985 and is locally owned and operated by an active pilot. Our full-service air center serves the aviation needs of the entire northeast Florida area and is proud to call Jacksonville its base of operations. Situated between the busy Atlanta and Orlando areas, CAC is an ideal air center for all personal and business aircraft.

CAC will exceed your expectations with the red carpet treatment that we offer to all of our guests. We offer comfortable lounge areas, a pilot's lounge, flight-planning areas, on-site car rentals, a full range of line services, highly-trained maintenance staff, an on-site parts department, aircraft sales and management, charter travel, and customer service that will take care of all the details for you.

Just flying through?

Contact our customer service department to coordinate your trip to the Jacksonville area. CAC personnel will await your arrival and can refuel the aircraft while you relax in ourairplane exterior comfortable passenger lobby or rest in the pilots' lounge and enjoy the DirectTV satellite television.

If you're planning on staying in the area for business or a vacation, have your aircraft cleaned, repaired, tied-down or towed and stored in a hangar until you're ready to depart. Utilize the pilots' flight-planning area with charts, WSI weather and Duat with printer.

We can arrange hotel accommodations, rental cars, crew cars (when available), conference rooms, catering, golf discounts, provide local information and maps, and much more. If there is anything we haven't already thought of, please feel free to ask.

Now a little about the Technical Stuff.

Craig Air Center is a Federal Aviation Administration, FAA certified on-demand Part 135 Charter Operator.  In Addition to being a FAA certified 135 Charter operator, Craig Air Center is a US Department of Transportation approved "Public Charter" Operator under the auspices of Public law 380. Our Public Charter Number is PC-08-096.

All Craig Air Center’s Bahama flights will be conducted in our Beech B1900 Airliners. The Beech B1900 is a 19 seat pressurized twin turbo-prop aircraft that was manufactured by Beechcraft.  The aircraft cruises at 275 MPH and has a service ceiling of 25,000 feet.  Craig Air Center’s B1900 aircraft have been safety inspected by the FAA, and are certified for use in our Charter operation. All of Craig Air Center’s Beech B1900 Captains are Airline Transport Rated (ATP) and have over 15 years of flying experience. They average over 7,000 flight hours. They are type-rated in the B1900 and attend simulator training once a year in addition to passing  two check rides per year administered by the FAA. Craig Air Center is an “ARGUS” gold operator and has had no incidents or violations in it’s 23 year history.
